our first one since we moved to california. magnitude was 4.7 some say 5.0. luckily no injury's or damages. was scary and we did the wrong thing -took gianluca and michy and just run outside. now after educating my self (of course after something happened) we know what to do next time (hopefully there will be no next time). it was short but scary

a couple of hours ago i learned that my uncle died (dr. nihat babaoğlu). my uncle was my father, idol, friend someone i felt very attached to for my whole life. even though he was far away the most time of my life i always felt close to him and he was very often in and on my mind. this is a very very painful lose. until today (after my father) this is my second biggest lose which i will not overcome without a big scarf in my soul. my condolence to everyone who loved him.

we went to first long beach earth day event. interesting people where there. gianluca did have some fun with his friends.

watched solaris yesterday. good movie. very philosophical -i think.
